CASMIR
We can play it safe, or play it cool
The snowy pillars pulled the bodice through the swaying sea of green. Black daggers hit the ground with a maximum force, the supple earth shuddering under the force. Multi hued threads of white, brown and blacks fluttered through the shining blue skies. Flares inhaled deeply, pushing the oxygen down into the tanks, barrel moving in and out with a gentle force. Slowly, the pace died off and the earth stopped shuddering. A pair of mahogany eyes stared out from the sockets, taking in the rich, futile land decorated with magnificent rounded stones. The human race... The stag mused with a small smile creasing his maw. ...their legacy was to be the only reigning race on earth. But little did they know that their legacies of greatness would befall them...
Follow the leader, or make up all the rules
The grey figure moved swiftly through the lands, the smell of other equines circling around his nostrils. He paused, wondering if he should just turn back now and forget that there were others in need. Shaking his head, Casmir cursed his lack of discipline. No, this was the right thing to do. He could not hide in the luxurious wetlands for the rest of his simpleton life. A snort engulfed his breathing and he hovered around a large stone stature. If horses needed a home, he had one. If not, he was fine with being the solitary king for the time being.
Whatever you want, the choice is yours
The auds moved backwards and forwards with a small force, hazel orbs taking in the perfectly carved lines on the stone. The humans may have been a foolish, illogical race but that didn't mean that they were awful artists. Their carving told many stories of new and old, the teeth bearing gods splayed out on the rough materials. The stag smiled to himself, breathing in the peaceful aroma of the land around him.
So choose
His meditation was cut short by the sound of another equine approaching his relaxing spot in the shade of the statue. Orbs snapped open and scanned the green, grassy horizon for the intruder. There was another animal moving towards him, he could see that. Banner flipped and daggers caressed the ground, uncertainty eating away at the solitary gray stallion.

Rikki Bound away, young spirit...
The circle of stone shadowed the meadow lightly, giving wandering equines a place to hide from the smouldering heat of the enraged sun. And one such mare was heading towards the haven now. Soft black silk caressing her boa as her daggers set up a steady, two beat pace. Inquisitive brown eyes danced over the land, dotted randomly with similar equines. Though they all were in pairs or so, to involved in their own actions and conversations to pay her much mind as she pranced through them, curious as ever to why these horses seemed so different, and yet so much the same.
And as she passed beside one of the great stone slabs, delicate images etched into the rough stone, her orbs passed over another, solitary equine. He was simply standing there, in the shade of a particularly large boulder. Keeping cool in the heat of summer was the best and really the only option that entered Rikki’s scatter brained crown. But she was curious as usual and giving a slight kick of her heels she came up to him, orbs shining with youthful spirit.
“Hi there.” She spoke, lyrics seeming to crackle with energy. Her diluted coat grew dark as she entered the stone’s shadow, her crisp white stripe now standing out upon her crown. “I’m Rikki! What’s your name? Why are you here alone? You waiting for someone?” The questions came out in a rush, she was excited being among so many of her own kind, and she was insanely curious. She had never really had much connection with horses at a young age so she was really not aware of the way to talk to them, depending on social status or really anything.
She gave a small toss of her head, sending her silk bouncing with the motion. This stallion was the color of snow, and considering her own height was about normal sized. Though he seemed to have a little more muscle on him then most. Definitely not a delicate heritage. Rikki herself was a good deal of muscle, her neck being short, and overall bod a bit stocky because of her Morgan blood, but she still held the delicate look of a mare, and her fine, chiselled crown couldn’t help but show her happy nature to this seemingly serious stallion.

CASMIR
We can play it safe, or play it cool
The snowy white stag narrowed a cautious eye, not used to this type of bubbly persona shining in front of him. A young spirit of a filly shone through her eyes and he found himself wondering why such an excited mare would have so much to be happy about. Sure, she was alive. An sure, she probably had something or someone to look forward to, but still...The stallion shook the sweaty tassels away from the deep white hide, eye still curiously wandering over her. “I’m Rikki! What’s your name? Why are you here alone? You waiting for someone?” A basket load of questions seemed to ooze out of her maw and all Casmir had time to do was blink. It had been some time now since he had been with other horses, let alone mares. Although, he wasn't exactly the one to be all testosterone filled over mares. He generally tried to avoid them...
Follow the leader, or make up all the rules
Blinking slowly, the stallion breathed in deeply. So her name was Rikki? He found himself moving back a touch from the outright curious mare, the grasses swaying around his hocks. "Casmir." He uttered, the noun falling off his lips with a crisp snap. Nostrils breathed in deeply as he took in the scent of the over excited mare. He didn't exactly go insane over the sweet scent of the opposite sex, but that didn't mean he was oblivious to it. He just preferred to keep his thoughts and urges to himself, rather than lying his cards out for all to see. The stallion found himself embracing the silence once more, but had that slight urge to step into the unknown.
Whatever you want, the choice is yours
"No waiting. Just watching." He breathed, maw parting inches for the words to flutter out. The piercing rays of sun seemed to cut through the white pelt, and Casmir found himself thanking the lucky stars that he was not ash hued. The stag suddenly felt the need to bend water, to see the jets of water shoot up into the blue heavens and fall around his shoulders. When he was nervous, he usually bent the liquid. Orbs scanned the horizon for the second time today, and his features fell at the realization that there was no aqua in this barren land.
So choose
Looking up again, the stallion dipped his head in greeting, twin harks tipping forwards. The shadow of the majestic stone splashed itself over the ivory shoulders and trickled down the ghostly stalks. The silence ensured again and Cas found himself watching the mare. Was it hard to be that outward and not get herself in trouble? A respect of sorts hollowed his chest for Rikki. Hazel eyes washed over the darkened exterior, breathing slow and moderate. "You?"

Rikki Bound away, young spirit...
The stallion’s words caused the mare‘s auds to prick and she happily commented on them, not being able to hold back her own curious questions. “Casmir? That’s a nice name, does it mean anything? Or is it, well a name?” Her voice lightened with laughter at her last few lyrics, seeming to not hear the snap of which the word was uttered with. She smiled again, daggers taking it in turn to lift from the earth for a heartbeat then be reconnected. It was subtle thing that happened when she was excited and needed to stand still, even she hardly noticed at times, though a lot of sometimes obvious things were hidden from her gaze.
She nodded enthusiastically at his next set of words, though they needed no response, being an answer to an already asked question. And though her maw opened to bombard this stallion with yet more questions, her onslaught paused as he looked out to the distance, seemingly searching for something. But nothing came in view when Rikki followed his gaze, guess whatever he was looking for wasn’t there. And this showed correctly upon him, like a sudden wave of bone-chilling water.
Rikki suddenly found herself looking at thin air as the stallion before her dipped his head, and suddenly awkward she daintily did the same, hoping it was a greeting of some sort. The silence was overpowering for the young mare and her whipcord twitched, she was nervous in silences, many things had happened to her, and well it comforted her to hear voices…usually.
“Me?” Surprise was the emotion that formed those words, and she looked to the stallion, light coat drenched in shadow. “Oh no, nobody waiting for me. And I’m not waiting for anybody in particular either, just…around.”

CASMIR

...just...around The stallion could vouch for that feeling. He'd been "just around" also for a couple of months now...just watching. Waiting. Looking. Sides heaved with a silent force once again. It was nice to just sit and wait, watch the hectic lives of many just spin into eternity. Casmir felt some sort of sorrow for those who never took the time to just sit. He could hardly imagine leading a life of where everything had to be done at a constant yet rapid speed. Everything, he believed, had it's own place and moment. There really was no need to hurry things along simply because of this fickle thing called "time". Was time not a prophecy made up by humans? And had they not said that it could not be measured by minutes gone by, but the moments you made?
Follow the leader, or make up all the rules
"Yeah. Just a name." The stallion commented whilst carefully watching the mare. The silence seemed to unearth her. Made her nervous. A sigh forced itself up this larynx, wondering whether it was worth waiting for the young mare to leave him. He should probably cut his losses and leave now. Brown orbs washed over her beautiful bodice, wondering why this could possibly be happening. This feeling etching itself into his chest, it made him breathe deep and think weary thoughts. And one thing is for sure, he didn't like it one bit. It felt too much like that strange emotion he'd felt when he was with her. Her being his ex mate. Blinking, Cas pushed the thoughts away. How did those testosterone filled stags do it? He'd seen plenty a young gent swagger his way into a mare's heart with a few words. Cas, of course, had never really bothered, but now, he was sort of wishing that he paid attention...
Whatever you want, the choice is yours
The unblemished pelt moved slightly to the left, now slick with shimmering sweat from the relentless heat of the sun. He found himself narrowing a slightly suspicious eye at the light mare, wondering if she were who she said she were. She probably was...but last time he'd fallen for a mare like this...well, he didn't really like going into it. Casmir shook his tassels again, moving closer to the cool rock. How was he to know that this mare was some stranger looking to kill him for his land? Surely such a horse could not, should not exist. But sadly, he knew all too well that these dark hearted beings roamed the lands. Which only made him want to heck his back even more.
So choose
"Are you of aqua linage?" Casmir asked, voice low and steady. There was no point in beating around the bush, as to say. He'd rather the truth be slapped out in front of him and the consequences laid than wait for something that may never happen. Daggers straightened and he stood taller momentarily, not sure of what he should be feeling. Or doing. This was all new to him. Realizing that it was probably rude to ask such a question and not give an answer, he nodded, fringe tossing to the side of the pearly face. "Don't worry, I'm happy with my marine skills. And yours if you choose to say so."

Rikki Bound away, young spirit...
Rikki watched the stallion carefully, he himself more or less doing the same it seemed, though maybe not in exactly the same way. Her ears were pricked with countless thoughts as she stood there, breathing lightly, for the heat of summer, even in this shade burned into her, making her body steam with perspiration. And as her eyes ran over the stallions snowy bod, it seemed the same was happening to him, his bod wet with similar, salty aqua. His lyrics reached her auds, causing her orbs to look to his.
A question left his maw and Rikki, thought momentarily about this. “Aqua Linage, well I guess you could say that yes. Though my parents I believe were normal equine” She smiled, whipcord swishing against her hot, damp hide. She shook herself irritably a moment later though as small strands stuck to her coat, this heat was quite unbearable.
“You are to? Well that’s great!” Finding another of her kind made her even more excited, till now she’d never met another water elemental, and she was curious how they differed, and much they where the same. She tilted her crown to the side, auds perked towards Casmir. Her daggers continued their involuntary actions, rising and lowering with a refurnished flurry. She wanted to move, and unable to contain herself gave a delighted like kick, though she caught herself soon after and slightly embarrassed lowered her boa, dull black silk floating over her diluted pelt. “Sorry, just a little excited” She smiled, a small little grin.

CASMIR

The stag suddenly found himself smiling, nodding to her phrase. Auds teetered forward on the cranium with the occasional movement to shoo the pesky flies away. He may have been born into an aqua-orientated clan but that didn't mean that his parents instantly knew that their son would be a water prodigy. No, most of the colts his age had to prove their abilities in bending. But until you could, you were considered a commoner. Unworthy of being touched by the god's watery hand. Ironic, really. Seeing as he probably would've been their best bender. But then again, he had run from the war. Run as fast as he could. His problems died with the soldiers of that tribe, so did the secrets and past knowing. Ignoring that thought, Casmir turned his attention towards Rikki.
Follow the leader, or make up all the rules
"Sometimes it takes a little bit longer for true talent to shine, yes?" The silvery stag added with a chuckle. Nares inhaled deeply, sucking the pristine air into the tanks, barrel proudly lifted with pride. The mare was a few inches or so shorter than he, the sweat running happily though the coat of the gruella hairs. The sparkle danced through his eye, now keeping a steady pace with hers. Cas still wasn't sure of what to do in these sort of interactions, but his head was telling him from past experience that there really wasn't a right way to do these things. Just follow your intentions and you'll get there, he figured.
Whatever you want, the choice is yours
Suddenly, the crisply clean stallion found himself moving from the consuming shadows, their grip losing their hold on his translucent pelt as the daggers pulled the thick bodice from the darkness, and into the sweltering heat. The sun had a merciless hold on all the creatures displayed before it, the harmful rays of light attacking the horses like they were toys in a box. Puppets for the maker to do as he wished, Casmir's mother used to tell him. Somewhat elegant neck turned back to the mare, now hiding her embarrassment from the display of joy. "Don't be. Excitement's something my life needs." he said with a grin.
So choose
Turning to face the petite, elegant bodice before him, the horse found himself wishing for any source of water near or far. To be able to bend, and use his power with free will..it was more than a tad exciting. "So...I'm pretty new here. Any suggestions?" Casmir found himself adding some sort of tone to the phrase, between a flirtatious wink or a suggestive tremble of his larynx. Blinking slowly, he adjusted to the light, wondering where whatever the tone came from. It certainly had been a long time since he'd charmed a mare, but should it be so soon?

Rikki A petite water mare with a need of discipline.
A grin seemed along his maw at her words, and she found herself smiling to, possibly a little flirtatiously although she wasn’t one to really dwell on lust or the such. Silk gave a jubilant swipe, sending a small current of breeze into the muggy air, heaven knew they need it on such a day. Even in the cooling shadow of the great piece of history the heat was quite unbearable though somehow this little water mare was able to ignore the brunt of it, even as sweat almost literally soaked her pelt, desperately trying to cool her unaware bod.
His own lyrics sounded, aided by a deep, comforting rumble of laughter. Rikki liked that laugh, it was simple and clear, and well, true. She didn’t answer his reply with words merely a mischievous twinkle of the eye, silk swishing past deep, dark orbs. She found herself happily bouncing, energy radiating from her with every step as the stallion as well walked, out into the murderous sunlight, and heat.
“You may need it but, do you want it?” This was always a dilemma with the mare, ‘why do something if you don’t want to?’ was a little like her motto though, she made rare exceptions at times, rare exceptions. “Though if you do I might as well stay around-” Her boa arched, and she gave a small laugh, though a little more like a giggle then anything. “I’ve been told I could supply a whole herd of horses with energy for at least a moon, if I was willing to give it up!” Her daggers now rose and fell with startling speed. She wanted to run, to move, to have fun.
“Oh no, no idea” she snorted, nearly leaping on the spot. “But I guess we can always look around, things are bound to show up” She gave a flirty smile, though slightly embarrassed at her more, outward actions with well, them showing a little more then mere excitment. “Ready when you are!” she shook her thick boa, delicate crown tossing into the air, her daggers giving sharp bounds into clear air, then earth as she jogged on the spot furiously.
//OoC// MEH! Defiantly not my best post but I think it will do...hopefully it will do , gotta get back in the motion of things because of my break -smacks virus- +3

CASMIRWe can play it safe, or play it cool
Emotion was a fickle thing to the stallion. Actually, alot of things were. Why did they have days of sun, followed by nights of darkness? Why did the humans, who were the ultimate rulers, corner themselves into their demise? When were the elementals going to appear? Twin harks teetered forwards on the rather confounded cranium as optics watched the darkened pelt leap and dance before him. Casmir could feel a surge of...well...he didn't even recognize the feeling bubbling in his gut. The last time he'd claimed a mare left him broken hearted and searching the lands for solitude. A part of him wondered what would happen if that were to happen again. There was nowhere else to run to, nowhere where he could hide from the embarrassment... except off a precipice...
Follow the leader, or make up all the rules
Blinking, he trailed forwards into the blazing heat of the sun. There was no guarantee that he would magically fall for this mare before him. Love wasn't as easy as that, was it? One minute, you meet a member of the opposite sex, and the next you are head over heels for them? Surely there must be something more complex to it? Cas shook his head, the snowy threads slapping against the lightly toned neck. Daggers sliced through the emeraldine blades. A smile collected on the maw, brown eyes sparkling extravagantly. "Wants and needs can be very different, Miss Rikki." Stalks pushed the grasses aside, nares lifting the scent of the nearby terras. Should he be taking her back to Neibiosa, after such a short time of knowing her? What if she were some sort of betrayer? Casmir shook his head, threads shielding the darkened eyes from the harsh sun. Trust was a two way street, he had once been told. And it seemed that this mare trusted him enough...
Whatever you want, the choice is yours
A rash of excitement made the muscles bunch and quiver. The stag's heartbeat raced with the urge to run free, even if it were only for the shortest time possible. Auds perched forwards on the skull. It seemed that excitement was contagious between the two, the taller stag just as ready as the more petite mare. A grin creased his features again, all the worried thoughts erased once more. "Perhaps then, you should bring your energy back to my land." The columns pushed forwards through the land, speed delighting in his thin form. "Follow me, Rikki, I can offer you protection and safety if you choose to accept..."
So choose
[OOC:] Eww, icky post but one nonetheless XD. Shall we continue to Neibiosa? Oh yus, if you wouldn't mind checking this out, that would be great. Thanks luff XD
