.x. lost 'til you're found .x. Karolek turned his head away for a moment, not wishing to watch the mare fight to stand anymore. He focused on the rain instead, finding it almost amusing that the rain was still pouring, sheets and sheets upon them. Miniature rivers flowing down his buckskin's hide, and her's of similar shade, then splashing down on the rocks they stood upon. Or he stood upon, and she laid upon. Pondering this he decided to venture a glance again at Haunt, to see if she was upon her feet yet. She was, and that made him let out a breath of silent relief.
.x. swim 'til you drown .x.
She stumbled toward him, and he almost reacted in keeping her upright by lowering his boa under her own, but she regained her balance herself. He resumed his normal stance and listened at her forced lies, of course they were lies. He had asked the most moronic question for her to answer, how else would she answer him? No, I'm not fine you dolt I just slid down the canyon. Surely that would be what she was thinking, as he scolded himself internally. Fortunately for his well-being she had sense enough to be polite and lie. Though since when had lieing been the polite thing to do? He sighed, what had this world come to?
.x. know that we all fall down .x.
"I'm sorry, that was incredibly stupid. Of course you're not," he mumbled though more to himself then her, though regrettably he uttered it loud enough for her close auds to hear. He scoffed at himself, since when had he become the baffling idiot? Oh yes, since this mystery mare trotted off into the pitch black canyon in the middle of a blasted storm and almost fallen to her death. He picked up his rear dagger and threw it back down to the earth below, a unintended loud noise echoing in the darkness. Whoops.
.x. love 'til you hate .x.
His continued his inner rant, though it feel short as Haunt's ebony banner slid off her face from which it had been concealing for so long. Long straight multiple scars disrupted her otherwise pristine flesh, leaving her with a deformed eye...mutated. Just a bloody mess as of now. Could she even see out of it? He doubted that. He had never seen something of the like before. Yes, he it was quite possible...he had many encounters with predators before and he had a few scars himself. But nothing like that...oh no. He stared, not being able to help it. Entranced, perhaps? He shook his head, breaking his gaze and the curse that seemed to linger on her.
.x. jump 'til you break .x.
"Who-what did that to you? I mean-how?" he mouthed, though his lyrics seeped out into audible words. He tried not to stare, for an attempt on being polite for a change, and also for fear or...what might happen. It seemed...eerie. He thought his own orbs were extraordinary, an amber color that could pierce the souls of his enemies. But this was...so harsh. So...different. He couldn't describe it, it was just so....horrible. Yes that was it, horrible. The pain that she would have gone through...unbearable. He wondered if the discomfort she was in now was anything compared to that dark time she must have passed, though he managed to keep his thoughts to himself in an effort to not make her feel anymore uncomfortable then she must have been already.
.x. know that we all fall down .x.
OoC||If my posts so horrible you can't bear it, just let me know. My muse is still -splat-. But I was so bored I wrote something anyway. haha.

Haunt Feels like I' ve lived forever
Her delicate auds twitched, but she said nothing at his first lyrics. It was the right thing to do, to worry about others, and when that came naturally you know the other is good hearted, well most of the time. Her eyes snapped open as his shinning wet hoof raged against the ground, making a sound like crackling lightning, though it didn’t light up the sky with flash.
The mare could feel his gaze upon her, staring at that distasteful sight. Though she knew he would have anyway, it was a hard thing to miss. He started to speak, his words slipped to her auds, though they sounded like they were meant for his mind alone. Her crown began to lose the heavy, blanket feeling of blood as the rain still poured down upon them. It was silent now, save for her heavy, painful breaths. Haunt felt as icy as the rain, though her crazed state before had left her body sleek with perspiration.
“Years ago, lost it to a cougar. He showed me no mercy, though I was young. Mind you I don‘t think many predators would” She whispered quietly. Answering his stuttered questions. Wishing that the blood was gone already, she wanted this deformity gone, out of his sight and her own thoughts. Though that in its self would have been impossible, this broken orb, this mutation of her body was always in her mind. Or so it had been for a long while.
“Its disgusting, isn’t it” Her voice suddenly changed, instead of quiet emotionless it now dripped with poisonous distaste. “You really just wish I would leave don’t you!” Her head whipped around, forelock swaying freely with the motion. Her single orb hot with the fire of sudden fury. “You are disgusted by me, by this thing! You’re like everyone else, so kind in the beginning and then you will…” Her head lowered in defeat. “Then you’ll reject me, tossing me aside like I’m a piece of worthless vermin!” Her voice cracked, allowing her raised voice to echo off along the winding stone about them, the rain seemed distant now. A sound only heard in the very corners of her mind. “I’m not” her bod shook, from both the cold and her raging outburst. Suddenly her head flew up, orb flashing with anger and her maw opened in a fierce scream “I’m not, you hear me!?”
She suddenly froze, what had she done? She backed away from the stallion slowly. Then she knew, It dawned on her like a raging forest fire. He would leave for sure now. She had finally broke, though it took many a long years she had finally reached her breaking point. Her whole bod drooped, sickened by her own words. Yet unable to say any more, anything to show him she didn’t mean such harsh lyrics.

¦lost 'til you're found¦
The night seemed to test his patience, trying to push him over the edge. All this waiting, not to even mention the constant weather that still overpowered the two standing there, in the midst of it. He felt his ebony banner resting on his boa, weighed down by the aqua dripping down the strands. He shook his neck avidly, wishing every drop of water to escape from his mane. The drops flew wildly, though he figured it didn't matter much anyway. His tresses would only plaster themselves against his neck in a few moments time.
¦swim 'til you drown¦
Karolek shivered, unable to resist the sudden urge that possessed him. The night seemed to be getting colder, the wind finding its way inside the canyon and spiraling out of control. He wondered how long this blackness would last, would there be no sleeping tonight also? Even if he was to fall asleep, would she be gone when he awoke, not a trace to be found of her departure? Her soft words entered his perked auds, and he only nodded in response. What else was he to say? Nothing that would do of any use. He dropped his gaze, staring now at the trail they stood upon. There was no use making her feel uncomfortable either...it was not her fault that cougar had showed no mercy, that she was young, experienced and without protection.
¦know that we all fall down¦
Venomous lyrics found their way to him, startling him out of his thoughts. He looked up at her, trying to figure out what had happened. Her voice was full of hate and contempt, one orb crazed with disdain. Was she...threatening him? He straightened his posture, rising to his full height as he looked down at her. Though then she lowered her head again, like she had been beaten and broken. But her words continued, breaking then turning into a scream as she flew her head upward to stare him in the eye. He snorted and stamped his front dagger to the ground, loud noise echoing off the close walls in warning.
¦love 'til you hate¦
But then she stopped again, backing away in disgust at herself. He watched in wonder as these emotions spun their way through her head. Was she alright? Another stupid question, though this was for his ears only. He was still in an defensive stance as his amber orbs stared at her, though not at her scars but rather her whole face in general as she slunk away. He opened his mouth to put her back in her place, but only air escaped. He held back his lyrics, exchanging them for more kinder ones.
¦jump 'til you break¦
"It's a scar," he exclaimed loudly, his voice strong but not harsh. He flicked his whipcord firmly, a slapping sound as it made contact with his drenched haunches. "I am not scared, I am not disgusted," he continued, watching wearily at the effect his lyrics would give her. He didn't want another outburst from her, though he doubted that would happen with the shrunken demeanor she was in now. "If you want you can go," he paused, letting the words settle in the silence before going on. "But I'm not going to toss you out of anywhere, and I'd say you most surely don't look like vermin to me," he finished letting a hint of humor take over his tone. He continued his firm gaze focused on her face as he waited for her response...Was she alright?
¦know that we all fall down¦

Haunt Feels like I' ve lived forever...
Haunt remained motionless of his lyrics rang through the air, surprisingly kind after such an outburst. The ache in her chest began to fade, replaced by a strange feeling. Nothingness, she felt nothing within her, no hidden emotions or anger, only a quiet nothingness. It feels good…her mind whispered, and her bod relaxed. Black silk washing over her face once more. She suddenly snapped back to reality, and her stuttering lyrics sounded with a weary tone.
“I-I’ am sorry” She lowered her head in shame. “I didn’t mean what I said. I-” she broke off, coughing violently. Rain ran down her soaked bod like rivers, they shivered as the coughs shook her form, some feeble beads slipping from her. As the racking coughs subsided she could only pant, her bod was weak, and she knew this.
“I know-Its looks like a scar to you.” She continued, breathing heavily. “But, Its more then that. Be-be careful around me” She took in a shuddering breath. “Don’t fall asleep…” She could say no more then, her burning lungs wouldn’t allow her to talk. Only draw in gasping breaths like each was her last.
She stumbled, pillars shaking from fatigue. Crimson rain still fell from her frame, though now it merely dripped with a unsteady beat. Its meeting with the ground merely a near silent pattering. She stumbled forwards, eye half shut with her pain and weariness. Help me…Her voice longed to cry out but her maw couldn’t form the words. And with a final breath, she slipped into a welcoming darkness.
//OoC// Bah I know its short, couldn't really think of much else to write though xD. We can just magically poof somewhere if you want or something, anything really lol. Oh! And she isn't dead, though you probably knew that :3.
