And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
The light drizzle that was common this time of year complimented the hunched figure that etched its way into the surroundings, shielded by a transparent wall of grey.If one were to watch the figure move its way across the terra, they would eventually recognize it to be an equine. The gender would be unknown for a while, but the Arabian figurine suggested feminine. She was white, although stories of the past covered her coat.If the watcher was a kind soul, they might stop the trudging being for a chat.Although, the watcher would most likely have been set back by the horse's stand-offish aura. She was not aware of anything else in the world except the steady pattern her hooves were making as they weaved in and out from under her.Her orbs were glued to the passing earth beneath her as she pushed on,having no visible destination in mind.
It was apparent that the ess carried the weight of her past on her shoulders, which must not have been an easy load. If the secret watcher were a bird of prey, their keen eyes would have been ableto spot the loud scars that covered her cloak of white. This might push the watcher further to stop her for an exchange of stories, but the mare did not seem interested in meeting anyone new.She was visibly consumed in a world of lonliness and fear, both of which have subdued her to only a standing figure in the Spring rain.
The fem stumbled, remaining crouched over like an older beggar,knock-kneed and weary. Her whipcord was plastered to her abused hindquarters.Seconded by her whithers, that was the most scarred place on her frame.Had the watcher stopped her, questions might arouse in his head when he spotted these peculiar marks upon what was otherwise a beuatiful horse.Dare he bother her,she would become only a boulder of the earth, emotionless as rock. Her visage would reveal nothing, and perhaps it was this sort of aura that kept the imaginary watcher hidden among the shadows.
Twas not much father that the equine could keep up her pace. Her ribs pressed against the thin layer of ragged skin on her flanks, revealing yet another hint of her hard past. She stopped, not taking much interest in her surroundings.Perhaps at this point she did not care whether she lived or died.Perhaps in her eyes they were equal in favor,or maybe she even thought death would be better.Either way,she was very trained in the art of not showing emotion, although her corrupted frame begged to differ.

Karolek:// Long stilts carried the stallion's large frame at a consistent trot through the ever present drizzle and sludge below. He kept his head parallel to the ground, auds in a relaxed state tilted slightly backward. He was most definitely still alert, for he was always alert. He just wasn't paranoid, though he was neither haughty. He merely came to the conclusion that if a threat entered his lands he'd deal with it, no sense taking a few years off his life worrying incessantly. After all, who would want to live their life in fear, rather it be for one reason or another. Nobody deserved that feeling, not even the most nefarious of ones.
While he entertained himself with these thoughts he realized that someone was nearby. His eyes showed him nothing, though with the rain and such visibility was low already. His auds heard a faint sound of hooves shuffling across the ground, though they could be easily tricked. But what made him positive was his sense of smell, where even from where he stood he could make out the smell of a fellow equine. Possibly an earth follower, if his instincts were correct on the assumption.
He quickened his pace, making no effort to muffle the distinct sound of his hooves clunking against the canyon floor beneath him. He continued until she came into his line of sight. He made the presumption of her being of the female gender on the fact of her small and lithe frame, which he could tell even from afar he'd dwarf over. He slowed down his strides, now making an attempt to quiet his steps. She was no threat, that he was immediately sure of. But what he wasn't quite sure of was why she was here.
He pondered over going toward her, but something stopped him from doing so. Rather he left a decent amount of distance between them, though he was most in her line of vision. He took notice of the way she stood, like she couldn't go on any longer. Beaten and battered might be a description, tired and depressed another. Pity overwhelmed him, but he still didn't move any further toward her. Something kept him at bay, rather just settling at watching her. He decided to make an audible snort, just to make his presence known lest she have not noticed him already.
[Really crappy, but I was rushed and my shoulder stared hurting, but I still wanted to post something. Take your time in replying, I don't mind waiting. I apologize again for its lack of quality and an ending (or body for that matter, haha).]

And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
Still the dove stood,in a rigid travesty of a statue.Statues were not meant to be an eyesore, but meant to stand out and catch the eye rather than scare it away.Alith stood,battle-scarred and instead of standing out,her melancholy being fit in perfectly with the dreary surrounding of a Spring drizzle. The day was not light and colorful, like one might imagine it to be.It was as if the day had dressed to match the fae.But now the slightest change of the soft pitter-patter caressed her aud, urging it to swivel against her will.Perhaps there was the tiniest flicker of fire deep within her that whoever had caused the disturbance might be a kind soul. One who would take pity on her poor appearance and send out a few words of warmth. But the flame was quickly put out by the rain, and was now only a sizzling thought in the back of her mind, soon to vanish without a trace.
It wasn't long before the stud came into visibility. And it wasn't that the mare was looking around, rather, she kept her orbs glued to the ground, where they belong.Dare she raise them to a higher equid, she would be punished. But what was new? No,the male simply stopped before her, giving her her space.A first for Alith. It took her off guard, and without thinking she raised her head ever so slightly out of surprise. Her windows held much question in them, which she quickly diminished when she confirmed her suspicion that it was indeed a male.A higher being. She quickly returned her gaze, this time locking them on her hooves, torn and painfully tattered by the long road behind her.She awaited the brute to make a sure move. This was expected, although dreaded. And even though he was not of her previous herd, she had never known anything different.Only the cruelty of male, and their sheer brute force she so resented, but dare not speak out.
As time ticked on,her breath became shorter and quicker. The wait was killing her.She would much rather get it over with, whatever he was planning, than sit here under his unknown gaze. She had only allowed herself to get a glimpse. She was not able to see what sort of emotion his orbs held,if any.For where she came from they often didn't.They were often just the black holes that sucked you in..made you have no choice but to look into them. Finally she could take it no longer. The weariness in her gave her strength she had never known, and although it was little,it forced her to her knees. She inched closer to the male, never once looking up at him.She was there now for his taking, which just very well could have been what he was waiting for. Please sir..do whatever you wish to me. Those forced words. It was polite to offer yourself up.Perhaps it even saved you from some cruel roughness, but probably not.It was probably some figment of the mare's imagination, something she clung to for dear life in the dark safety of her mind.

Karolek:// The earth stallion watched her with eager eyes, though for only curiosities sake. She was, after all, on his land. If he were a brute and a no good then he could in fact do whatever he wish to her. Though he himself never had that kind of personality, and never planned to adopt it either. Though from the vague look of this equine he could only guess she might have had an experience of that kind before. He noticed she tried to avoid his eyes at all costs, something that he found quite odd. Was she scared of him? He contemplated moving toward her more, but decided against it. He didn't want to frighten her.
Whipcord lashed out at his hide, a sign of irritation and confusion. Though he was far from irritated at the poor mare, oh no. He was irritated at himself. He thought he had met all types, was prepared for anyone that might enter his land. But now a small femme wanders in and he doesn't know what to do. He didn't want to go up to her, fear that she run away. For that was how he perceived her, though he hadn't talked to her nor even had a clear view of her. He probably should have just left her alone, she would have wandered out eventually. But that would have just been impolite, and stupid in his opinion.
Movement on her part caught his eye, ripping him away from his thoughts. He was ever so silently thankful to her for this, as his tendency to wander off in his thoughts and worries was anything but voluntary. Then she spoke, or more like forced a few words out of her maw. When her voice reached his ears he perked his auds up, making sure they weren't tricking him into thinking she said something that she hadn't. But they hadn't fooled him, she actually did speak that. He tilted his crown to the side, his stilts carrying him closer to the mysterious mare as he laughed. Not a sinister chuckle, just a goodhearted laugh.
"Why would I want to do anything to you? I am only here because you wandered onto my land. You are not here to challenge me, are you? If not, isn't it my right to greet you then?" he spoke, still carrying himself toward her. He stopped his laughing now, for he knew this was probably a very serious matter to her. He was just so caught off guard by her words. He knew to some he might have an imposing stature, but he hadn't even spoken to her yet. Yet alone did something to make her think bad of him. He prided himself in his ability to be fair to all, and he hadn't really experienced many such like her. Though he wasn't naive, he knew many weren't quite as nice as himself.

And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
The fae regretted uttering a word, for it only brought more painful silence. She had stirred herself up in a frenzy, not knowing what to do with all this spare time. She was used to 'hit it and quit it' in her homeherd,if one would even want to call it that. She was not used to being left to her own thoughts, and she suprised herself when she came to the conclusion that she actually wanted to be used and abused. In a way it had become a part of her.Whether its 'normal' or not,if its in your daily schedule, its normal for you.And that was the way it was with Alith. She shuddered under the brute's hot gaze, burning a hole through her.She daren't lift her gaze, nor move a muscle. But she flinched when she saw his slades shift, moving closer to her nose. She stared at them and jumped when the brute began to laugh.Although her natural curiousity nearly took over, she forced herself not to glance up at him to read his face. She was not sure there was anything funny to laugh at,and even though it didn't sound sadistic, there was no other option. This thought actually comforted her,for she was used to cruelty. And then for the first time she heard his voice. She mistook what he had said for sarcasm, for it was an oh-so-familiar language to Alith.
Now having been spoken to,she rose to her feet, still keeping her orbs at a self-conscious level. So many questions bubbled in her skull, but she dare not ask.It was her job only to answer questions, not ask or make statements of her own. What's taught by adults is always right, right? Because you can..the rehearsed answer. Challenge?...oh never sir. Her gaze still burned into the earth, and her voice quaked. You have every right. She did not ask what he meant by that strange word 'greet'.It was foreign on her tounge, but she liked the sound of it.

Karolek:// Rainy day as it already was, it would only get worse. The rain started pouring down harder, pelting everything in its path. The only think breaking its fall the canyon floor and the two equines. He felt the rain pound down on his hide, though his attention wasn't on the rain, rather on this mare. He noticed that his stare was making her uncomfortable, as she never once looked up. He found this quite odd, but then again he didn't want to make her uneasy. Or more so then she already was anyway. He adverted his orbs, in attempt to make her more relaxed. Though he didn't know who could be fully comfortable with the rain as it was now. Unless you were of the water element, though he could tell she wasn't. For one she was anything but comfortable, secondly if his instincts were correct she was more of an earth elementalist. Like himself. Though he thought it best to leave that conversation until she wasn't giving herself up to him freely.
"Because I can?" he repeated, bewildered at her words as they sliced through the silence that had grown between them. "Do you want me to hurt you?" he asked, wondering if maybe this was some kind of sick joke. Nobody just gave themselves over like that, as if she was just a intimate object and not a living being. Though maybe her past was more then he had guessed. He felt his mane plastering itself against his neck, soaked from the rain that seemed to be always present in this time of the year. He shook his neck furiously, trying to free his banner from his wet hide. It also showed a bit of frustration on his part. He knew he had to be careful and choose his word and actions carefully. He didn't want to scare her, or at least not any more then he already had- apparently.
"Well then..." he paused, trying to shake off previous assumptions. "Hello, my name is Karolek. Yours?" he asked, trying to start things over on a more...pleasant note. His confusion was still strewn about on his face, though he now tried to mask it. This femme was different then anyone he had experienced before. He just wasn't prepared, but maybe that was the problem. He needn't have to be prepared for each and every situation he might encounter. There were thousands of other equines in the world, each with a different personality and past to match. It wouldn't be possible to be prepared for all that enter his land. He took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly and silently. He would just have to go with the flow, like he always had. He didn't have to change his personality just for the fact that he had land now.
[eh, a bunch of filler. But I lost all the good stuff with the first draft. haha.]

And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
The angel's teardrops began to fall faster and more aggressively, something the mare only acknowledged with a shudder. She was afraid of what the stallion would do to her.She had spoken too much..females were not supposed to...conversate with others. They had been put on the earth to serve the opposite sex,and they deserved to be pampered. After all, they were the protectors of the herd.Serving them in return for safety and food. That is what had been drilled into her head ever since she was stolen into that dreadful harem. Another shudder racked her frame as these memories flooded back, and she was filled to the brim with mixed feelings. On one hand, she missed the mindlessness that existed there. For only in that state could everything be erased. But on the other side, here was a freedom she had never known, but was also still unsure if she did want to know it.
His words brought her out of her thoughts, and she surprised herself at thinking of such things. She mistook his shocked tone for anger, and cowered lower, keeping her head respectfully low. She was not sure how to answer his question.Did she want him to hurt her? There was no clear answer, and she dreaded responding, for fear of angering him even more. Please sir,do whatever you wish to me she repeated. Those mechanical, recorded words...so familiar. But her words had little effect on him,and she was almost glad, but the unfamiliarity of all this still scared her.
More of his words, calmer now, followed a short pause. She was so bewildered that he should actually care to know her name that she accidentally glanced up at him,her orbs round as a deer's.Quickly correcting her mistake, she returned her gaze to the dirt floor, short of words. For a while she tossed his name around in her head. The stallions back at her old herd were nameless faces, and there were so many names probably wouldn't have helped. And would you really want to know the name of your torturers? Karolek. She liked the name.During her journey here, she had debated about what the stallions' names might have been. She could only imagine them as Banes,or Blackwaters,or Mortems. But never Karoleks..that just didn't suit those emotionless faces. It was at that thought that her trust for Karolek, kind Karolek, began to ever so slowly build.
But what of her name?It didn't come to her immediately, and she couldn't remember if she had ever spoken it aloud.Alith...she had never known her mother,or at least couldn't remember her.She wondered if she had been named after anyone before she realized she had let a silence grow. ...A-Alith... What a strange word!It was far from familiar to her ears, and a small smile grew on her face after she spoke. Then she couldn't help herself,so she said it again, this time more sure. Alith.

Karolek:// A booming sound caught his attention, auds swiveling backward, trying to pinpoint the location of the noise. Could it be signaling a rock fall? This land most definitely seemed prone to that sort of thing. But no, as bright flashes of light danced around the gloomy sky he came to the conclusion it was simply a thundershower. Nothing to be anxious about, they were mostly harmless. He hadn’t himself seen any deaths by the deafening clashing or blinding illumination, though he had heard stories. But they were of severe storms, this seemed to just be Spring’s frequent visitor. He snorted, getting excited by the oncoming storm. He found this unusual, since he was neither of water nor fire element. But nonetheless he found it oddly exhilarating, maybe it was just some of his youthfulness getting a hold of him. He danced in place, daggers digging deeply into the sodden ground.
He then heard her repeat her words once again, almost like pleading him to just use her and so she could get it over with and continue her journey to wherever. He shook his head slowly, suddenly overcome with pity. He purposely tried to calm himself down, for fear of frightening her. "I don't want to hurt you," he spoke soothingly, slowly making his way closer to the fem. She obviously didn’t have the greatest of pasts, obviously scarred. Maybe she didn’t know any better, maybe she had never experienced what most equine would consider a normal foalhood. Nevertheless, he really didn’t know, he could only guess and wait. He wondered if she was ever going to speak again when her lyrics finally revealed her calling. She seemed to say it at first hesitantly, then gaining the courage to speak it again. He now stood only inches away from her, amber orbs glancing downward at her crown. He lowered his crane, making his dome level with her own.
“Hello Alith,” he said softly, smile transfixed on his maw. His irises trying to make contact with her own, though they were focused earthward. He questioned himself as to whether he should even be this close. He didn't want her to get the wrong idea, he wasn't going to hurt her. But reasoning with her hadn't seemed to work as of yet. He continued his stance, now completely motionless, waiting for any reaction on her part. He showed now visible signs of meaning harm, though he couldn't control what she thought or perceived. He sighed inwardly, sympathy for this Alith overwhelming him, which in turn surprised him.

And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
The girl's newfound confidence at speaking her name was shortlived. The sudden crash of thunder jolted her back to reality and she visibly sunk back into herself, the glow in her orbs dulling back to their original appearance. She tried not to show how suprised she was when Karolek began to 'dance' in place, obviously excited at the storm. She was curious, but she kept that locked inside.Did he like being out in a thunderstorm? To Alith it made her day even more gloomy. She was soaked to the bone and cold, but there wasn't even a trace of a thought that Karolek should take them to shelter. That was something completely unheard of to her, that a stallion should care about her well being and how she felt.
She flinched when she saw his slates take steps closer towards her.She dare not step back. She had heard his words, but they didn't register. The stallions back home had often told her that, their voices laced with poisonous sarcasm. If she hadn't been so distracted by him moving closer, she might have thought about how kind his voice had sounded, and istead of dripping with venom,it was warm and caring. But now he was seconds from her own face, and her orbs were completely cemented to the ground,as his were, for some reason. He said hello to her,and she was instantly back at her old herd.
Hello....Alith... a hissing voice came from the darkeness. There was no moon tonight, for better or for worse. She had rather not see their faces, but then his glinting, sneering orbs appeared, and she shivered. He circled her, cackling quietly. As if on cue two more of those jet black clones came out from the endless shadows and began to circle her also. That was by far the worst and longest night of her life. The pain was excruciating, and the stallions showed no mercy. She didn't know how she had become thier favorite, which was certaintly not a good thing. But it seemed to her the other prisoner mares got off lighter than she did. Her screams fell on deaf ears as they took turns sapping her confidence and strength away.
Noo! Her small frame jumped back, flanks heaving as she stared at Karolek, only half aware she was back in these strange lands with a stallion she was not used to.She stood there for what seemed like ages, trying to figure out what had just happened. Finally she spoke, suprising herself by actually asking a question. But..w-why don't you want to hurt me?You're a stallion,afterall...and..and I'm a mare. Poor Alith just couldn't put two and two together, still shaken from her flashback.

Karolek:// It was no secret that Alith disliked this weather, Karolek could clearly tell from the expression on her face. Even though he had to severely stoop down for his orbs to even get a glimpse of her face. She still hadn't lifted her crown from the earth, and his words nor his presence didn't seem to do any good as of yet. He took a step backward, letting her have her own space. He had no wish to make her feel even more uncomfortable. Rather the opposite, and now he suddenly wish he had the power to stop this thunderstorm. He himself didn't mind it, if anything he enjoyed it. It excited him for some unknown reason. He just wanted her to become more relaxed, or at least conversational.
Another clash and boom resounded, then a flash of lightning brightening up the dreary gray that resided. He didn't flinch, only adverting his orbs from Alith to glance at the sky. It was close, if not on them already. A loud outcry from the femme snapped his attention back to her, watching as she jumped away from him and began breathing heavily. But she was looking at him, finally her irises tearing themselves away from the ground. Then she just stood stock still, seemingly not moving an inch. He tilted his head to one side, was something wrong?
"Are you alright?" He asked, genuinely concerned. Though he fully knew he shouldn't expect an answer from her. She hadn't answered him yet, and he was starting to question whether she ever would. Would she ever believe he wasn't going to harm her? Or that he really was telling the truth? She did let her name slip though, even showing a glimpse of hope when doing so. The thunder sunk any hope though, and now she stood in front of him looking like she had just seen a ghost. Her voice shocked him, he didn't expect anymore words out of her. Though the content of them didn't, it was the same thing. Her inability to grasp he didn't want to hurt her, to rape her, to kill her.
"Yes, but that wasn't how I was raised. I don't know you, nor what you have been through. But I'm not going to hurt you Alith," he tried to reason, concern visible plainly on his face. If she was this scarred...what exactly had she been through? He didn't even want to imagine, because it must have been horrible. Unthinkable. He glanced at her, though trying to advert his eyes from her own. Experience told him that was yet another thing that could be possibly frightening. But he really didn't know how to act with this mare.

And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
The storm was passing. It left behind that feeling of loneliness, like someone who just met and began to like suddenly left you standing there.Occasionally a melancholy rumble of thunder could be heard off in the distance,as if it was bidding someone good-bye.A bolt of lightening would flash many miles away, weakly lighting up the sky around you. Then it would disappear back into the darkening sky.The rain was still constant, but it was no longer a miserable downpour. The two figures, one desperately reaching out,the other shivering in her thoughts, became more visible,no longer shielded by a wall of water falling from the heavens.A rouge thunder boomed, rattling the earth in its defiance. It faded back into itself, leaving nothing but the patter of rain.
Alith's flashback was still prominent in her head. She did not answer Karolek's question. Was she really okay? And if she answered no,would he make her tell him about what she had just experienced? The fae shook her petite, troubled head, flinging little water droplets in all directions.Trust was something Alith did not know even existed, but she was finding herself becoming more comfortable in the stud's presence. She kept having to remind herself she had said many times he wouldn't hurt her.Her gaze would fall back to the earth, but she would look back up to him and see the warm, kind glow in his orbs that she was beginning to like.It calmed her tense mind somewhat. Although,it was hard for her.Everything she had grown up with, everything she had been taught...Karolek was doing the exact opposite. It was something she struggled to reason with, and the conflict in her brainbox was tiring her.
His words drew her attention back to him.She listened as her convinced her once more he wasn't going to hurt her.The brute said it wasn't how he was raised. But wasn't that how all stallions were raised? To be..well..stallions.The brute force in the equine world, the protector, the provider. The the fae was raised to provide for the stallions' needs, whatever they may be.The fae had been brainwashed. But she had surprised herself with Karolek, asking questions and answering him even if she hadn't been asked a question herself. He had made no move to hurt her yet,so she dared speak again. Oh she muttered in a confused tone, glancing back down at her slates, swamped by puddles that jittered with raindrops. Her gaze lifted back up to meet his. Well then...what are you going to do with me?

.x. lost 'til you're found .x.
He knew the weather was moving on, off to torture another location. He was both relieved and forlorn at its passing. He enjoyed the excitement in the air that it had brought out in him, the thrill of the bright strikes of lightning and the loud booms of thunder. Though it did make the area much calmer, no more threatening noises or stimulus. All was peaceful again, except the mare nervous mare standing before him. The poor fae who just couldn't grasp that he didn't want to harm her. It almost physically pained him how much he wished to make her more at ease, yet his best attempts futile. He wondered if he should even endeavor to help her anymore, or let her go in peace. Though what if she wandered back to the place that had left her like this? He highly doubted that though, she was abused not mentally challenged.
.x. swim 'til you drown .x.
Karolek noticed her gaze, a fleeting look at his own amber pools. It almost seemed like she was tired, as if her own thoughts had fatigued her. He snorted, frustration building up though he tired his best to hide it. He needn't scare her anymore, or lose any little trust he had gained with her. A distant boom echoed through the mostly barren land, reaching his auds swiftly though he filtered it out as unimportant. Rain bled down his sides, leaving discoloration in its path. He didn't even take notice of this, his attention fully on Alith. He felt as if somehow he was responsible for this, like he should fix her. Though he knew he had done nothing wrong, and only time would mend something that seemed so deep.
.x. know that we all fall down .x.
Oh, she muttered, though he could tell disbelief was still in her tone. What kind of equines had she been living with? Savages? His sodden whipcord lashed out at his hindquarters in disgust, a low sloshing smacking enveloping as it made contact with his hide. He made an attempt to control his sudden outburst of anger, though it was more revulsion then anything. "Nothing...you are free to go wherever you wish. You could leave...or you could stay. But I will never hurt you," he responded, voice clam and rhythmic. He cared for her, this was also eminent in his voice. Though he couldn't pinpoint his reason for caring, he had only just met her...He could have very well just given up by now. Walked away, let her be. She could take care of her own...couldn't she? She was far from a helpless foal, but he couldn't quite determine what exactly she was, then. Who she was. Alith yes, but who was Alith?
.x. know that we all fall down .x.

And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
The darkness was eminent, and the hazy blue of dusk was all around them. The storm had moved out quite quickly,as if apologizing for its rude enterance. The smell of wet earth was thick, and the air was damp.Fog would steal away in the night,no doubt, encasing everything in a dense cloud.Alith had the urge to shake her pelt and rid it of annoying, slipping water droplets. She longed to shake off the weight on her mane, but instinct is hard to ignore. Her instinct had been contorted. In her mind, any sudden movements made by her would be risking her safety. The stallions she grew up with were merciless beasts, and Alith was their product.
Alith was thinking about what she had just asked.Overthinking really.Over analyzing. She became worried Karolek might take it as a challenging tone, and she knew how challenges were dealt with. She shivered, and not just because her pelt was wet.She watched the stallion become active..she couldn't pick out the emotion. Was it anger? She wilted visibly, and of course she was confused when he spoke and his words were kind.Alith wanted for him to just shut up and rape her already. She was not used to this much talk, this much conversation. She was not accustomed to kindness, and she began to think it was all a joke. For the first time ever, she became angry. She threatened her memories to flood back. And they did.She hated her old herd. She hated those brutes. She hated her parents for letting them take her.She hated her twisted mind. She hated the scars. And she hated the memories.
It started out at a low rumble, reflecting the feeling inside her.The earth began to quake beneath her, rattling pebbles shaking her from her maddening thoughts. It stopped, and her gaze fell to the ground. Was that an earthquake? She braced herself, incase it came back worse than just then. But nothing happened.Alith glanced at Karolek...was she going crazy?
[/blockquote] OOC: Alith breakthrough xD Her first bending, and she doesn't even know it was her, lol. Let me know if you need more to reply to.

.x. lost 'til you're found .x.
Still as could be the buckskin stallion staid, though many actions he thought about doing. Pounding the earth in frustration, lifting his thick boa and neigh to the heavens for help, violently shaking off the despicable droplets of aqua that weighed him down to the terra below. But none of these he carried out, as he didn't wish to frighten the mare. Movements might trigger reactions, ones he didn't wish to experience from her. He wished he could just get into her mind though, to understand her way of thinking. To know exactly what he should do. He was desperate, oh so desperate. Just to see a smile on her lips or a word of comprehension. Something.
.x. swim 'til you drown .x.
Now there seemed to be an inward struggle boiling within her small frame, any sign of breakthrough flying away with the wind. He sighed, though attempted to muffle it for her sake. What else could he say? Do? Maybe it was just time to leave her alone with her thoughts, there was barely any thing left for him to due. But then again, what if there was? An inward struggle he himself experienced now, fighting with himself as to leave her or to continue attempting to help her. Hoof prodded the earth, something he wouldn't have done a moment ago.
.x. know that we all fall down .x.
Sudden movement of the earth beneath him startled him, leaving him to only his instincts as he reared up then crashed back down to the rumbling ground, stilts wide for balance. He was angry, but he had complete control of his powers by now. That was not him, no chance. He stared wide eyed at her, amber pools staring in wonder. Then she looked at him, with eyes that seemed to blame him. That of course was just his interpreting, and he tilted his head to the side and smiled.
.x. love 'til you hate .x.
"That wasn't me," he informed her, in a light matter. Almost jokingly, though he knew any humor was lost with her. He didn't adjust his position, instead staying the way he was. No, not for fear of upsetting her anymore. He had decided to go past that, to be himself. For being as cautious as before had done nothing, so why waste his energy. He wasn't going to be mean, he was just going to be Karolek. "Do you want me to leave?" he asked, simply. It was a easy enough question to understand, though deep inside he still had a feeling she would take a different meaning of it. He made a motion of turning back, leaving her to her own thoughts and actions. But for now he staid put, watching her and not even adverting his eyes.
.x. jump 'til you break .x.
.x. know that we all fall down .x.
OoC||Bleh, seems awkward at parts. Oh well, it was thrown together quickly >.<. And you're post was fine, I love to leave Karolek to his signature mood swings xD.

And I can't turn back now A L I T H;; Cause you've brought me too far.
The bleached mare dared not relax. Her heart was racing, but this time not from a fear of others, but a fear of nature. She knew the cruelty of it as any other wild creature did.Instict through her thoughts around.Fight or flee? She glanced back at Karolek for support. If it came down to it,Alith oddly trusted him to take care of her.In the short time they had known each other,he had etched himself in her crazy mind as a protector, not an abuser. This was new to Alith, but the flight or flee instinct was hindered by her experiences in life.Sometimes the fem blocked out all instinct and instead went with what she had been taught.Perhaps that is what makes her so timid..the fact that she doesn't even trust herself.
When the danger of the earth turning in on itself gone,Alith slowly unbraced herself, straightening out with auds still alert. She heard Karolek say it wasn't him.She snorted at this.Him?Of course it wasn't him.It was nature, and what horse could control nature?Perhaps she had just misunderstood, and she didn't bother to ask.He had moved on anyway, now asking her if he should leave. There was a moment of clingy panic. If he went his own way, where would Alith go?Who knew what kind of beasts were out there?Would they be like Karolek,or like the brutes back home?Alith had no where near the courage to go back off on her own,but a mare couldn't make the demand for a stallion to stay somewhere. That was unheard of!Treating a higher equine like a dog!
Alith whimpered once, quietly. It was an attempt to say something, but it turned into just a pathetic sound, lost on the breeze.Another moment of panic forced her doubts out. Then where will I go? She had meant to elaborate on her concern, like where should she go?Where was the best place to stay. And maybe even could I stay here with you.But Alith was not a brave heart, obviously.
