It's a game... Sky reminded herself. She was disgusted in herself, but thefame needed playing. Resheph was not the right horse to have around right now. Thankfully, the gamma stallion ran his muzzle down her pelt foyer hindquarters. She took the oportunity to send an apologetic glance in Shattered's direction. She knew he felt bad for what he had said to her, and she had long since forgiven his outburst. If there was astag Sky trusted, it was him. That was it. No one else. Of course , that didn't mean she felt other things for him as well.
No no, she felt nothing for the king of Agni-Kai but trust. And even then, she would never admit it. She hoped there was enough of an understanding between herself and the king for him to know that she wasn't being sincere in her actions. In her eyes, she begged him to see it as what it was: nothing more than a game. Thank the gods Resheph was playing too. She shivered again. It pissed her off to know that she was still mare enough to be unable to resist a stallion's touch.
She ignored it as best she could. Almost as soon as the toture started, he left her side. Fuck! she thought. He was doing exactly what she was trying to avoid. She could tell from a mile away that there was something between Shattered and Vera, even though they aparebtly didn't know about it. Quickly she brushed against Resheph. She hadn't been able to get his attention while he was speaking to the other mare, and this disgusted her on a level that was hard to comprehend.
Thinking quickly, she tugged his mane. "Resheph...Darling, I think I might take you up on your offer." Once more, she sent a look to Shattered that spoke of her embarrassment. Maybe he'd catch on and not start a fight with his subordinate out here. She hated watching stags act like that. Vera belonged to Shartered and it was obvious. Resheph had moved back to her side and she was determined to keep his attentions. There was no reason for him not to trust her. She wAsn't going to do anything bitchy...yet.

I had no time to hate, because The grave would hinder me, And life was not so ample I Could finish enmity.
I felt my muscels relax as Shattered's face changed back to the Shattered I knew, the one who I trusted, and had found a surprising friendship with. He reached his boa closer to my shoulder, nares moving along my pelt carefully, like I was even too fragile to touch. I felt a bit akward, but I kept it covered by a vaguley calm mask, but my eyes showing that I was still a bit shooken up.
His whisper of an apology was accepted with a brush of my hide against his neck, as I bowed my crown to rest it at a lower level, and let him proceed to gentley brush my side. Shattered seemed to be planted right where he was, unwilling to bring himself to a stance in front of the odd stranger, who I now knew to be Resheph. He instead brought his mass closer, tassels brushing my boa slightly.
He stood between me and the two equines, like he was protecting me from some sort of danger, but he wasn't completely sheilding me from the two in front of us. He lowered his boa slightly, his visionaries gazeing back at who I believed to be dubbed Sky. More flirting on their side, and the stag, Resheph, started to bring his attention over to me, unfortunetly.
I glanced up at the tall stallion, hovering over my cranium and smirking down at me, his oculars seemed to lock onto mine for a second as I looked up just a smidge to see him. I quickly looked down at the ground, purposely lowering my crown and emitting an unhappy grunt. My mood had dropped dramatically, from scared and fearful to a bit pissed and ready to snap at the stag.
He spoke of the dangers in the woods, though I caught a hint of sarcasim in his meanacing lyrics, which let disturbing thoughts fly into my mind. My ribbons swished with a powerful, threatening force, focusing my visionaried back on the stallion until he was safely away from me, which wasn't after he had leaned his mug closer to breathe on my harks, the hot air throwing my my forelock gentley. My harks lay flat on my head as he danced back to Sky's side, and I looked over at Shattered.
I shifted my weight to the pillars that were closer to the king, letting our shoulders touch, comforting me a little and calming my frightened mind. I leaned closer to Shattered so I could whisper something to him without the obnoxious, rude, pushy stag or the creepy mare ease-dropping. "Let's just go, their... disturbing. I'm not comftorable around him." I shifted my occulars between the two, wanting to be back in the ashy canyons and as far as possible from Resheph.
Nor had I time to love, but since Some industry must be, The little toil of love, I thought, Was large enough for me.
OOC|| I know, it sucks horribly. About the very worst post I have ever done.

Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow Shattered no tomorrow No tomorrow
Confusion had danced upon Resheph’s features for a mere moment, seemingly startled by Sky’s sudden change of attitude. He took liking to it eagerly, bringing it upon himself to spew more verses of bittersweet words. Shattered gave the two little attention, though his previous feelings of disgust were fought against, the feelings that had been brought upon him at Sky’s actions not moments ago. Had something changed? It seemed so, for he felt his inner conscious battle his logic. Something was not as it seemed and yet, he found the answer difficult to grasp. It was more then simple caution that moved Shattered’s limbs, pushing him between the hellion and Vera. Resheph had already backed off, but Shattered wouldn’t put it past him to advance again.
Sky seemed to hold a desperate note of urgency as she spoke yet more verses, orbs flashing with embarrassment. The reality hit him like hail, what an idiot he had been. Sky was trying to protect Vera, as much as she was a stranger to Resheph that wouldn’t stop him from doing the things he wanted to her. It was undeniable that the offending brute had taken his actions a step to far, almost literally. Shattered’s maw creaked open to bare ivory fangs, hardly sharpened to points but still deadly. Auds tight against his throbbing skull he gave the rightly deserved bastard a look capable of raising the dead. “Please Reshpeh-” His voice whispered, barely audible but raging with eerie forbidding. “Give me one more reason to gut you alive.”
Orbs focused upon the brute, crown towering above his own. A whole hand of height difference… Though it was doubtful it would come in handy if they found no alternative to battle. “Touch her Resheph, and I will kill you.” Silence brought its icy hands to cradle, its long, chilling fingers curling about them all. Eerie, not to mention rightly served. A touch, called him back. Harks lifted, and orbs softened. Silk passed between the two equine, and the comforting feeling of fine hide fueled his boa, crown floating to meet Vera’s advancing plush. He gave an apologetic murmur, so quiet only Vera could weed it from the wind. His next verses followed suit, and indiscreetly he whispered back. “Sky is on our side, she’s doing this for you. She hates Resheph as much as the next equine.”
His orbs drifted back to the pair, crown lifting as he eyed Sky. After his short spell of naivety he had figured that was her goal, though Resheph obviously wasn’t one to be predicted in following the game plan. Shattered made a mental note of that, it was an important characteristic of the stallion. One that should be, and most defiantly would be carefully inspected.

[&]As the massive steed drifted away from the pale femora, smirk still plastered upon his haughty mug he felt an urgent tug from the enamels of who he could only suppose was Sky. Was this some sort of attempt to shift his attention back on her? Either she was becoming incredibly needy and thus jealous of the little one-sided chat he was having with the ess-which he doubted-or she had an ulterior motive. Bingo, he knew his gut feelings were always right. Not that any of it mattered now, his reaction to her innocent little tug of his deranged ebon threads was going to be the same no reason what her motive, or what verses she spewed to explain her actions. With an audible grunt meaning nothing less then irritation he snapped his boa toward the vexatious wench, his jowls opening rapidly and striking her nape before pulling back just as quickly as he had struck. With the precision and speed of a serpent he had aimed to just discipline her with a quick correction, mostly harmless. If she didn’t dodge his sudden attack it would only seep crimson for a few moments before it began to clot. Because in all honesty, he really didn’t have a logical reason to lash out as so. Except for the fact he was annoyed, and with Resheph that’s the only reason he needs. “Well isn’t that just dandy?” he chuckled through gritted teeth, absentmindedly sending flames to dance upon his charred daggers. “Though I don’t remember giving you the option to not,” he reminded her and let his plush trace the outline of her jaw, deciding to keep his occulars focused on her for now. His bulk shifted closer to her smaller frame, letting her know in not so subtle ways she wasn’t getting away whether she intended to or not. For all he knew she could be playing him, or even actually want to go with him. She was quite a wildcard.
[&]Without letting his attention drift too far away from Sky he let his skull turn to face his King, who seemed to be in a very foul mood from his little talk with the maiden beside him. What? He was just warning her of the dangerous beasts that lurk about, like his own self. But that was besides the point…it wasn‘t like the vix reacted anyway. She just stood there like the dud she was, giving him minimal eye contact and whispering things into her secret lovers ear who was clearly still in self-denial. She wasn‘t that interesting anyway, though it was quite a riot watching Shattered react. Anyway, back to Sky…”With your permission of course, my majesty,” he mocked with no intention of listening to him anyway. What was he going to do? Make him leave Sky here and not take her back to his lands? Yeah right. Perhaps the king had more skill with the fire element then he himself did, but at least he had brawn on his side. Plus, he was always down for a good fight, even if it meant there was a incredibly small chance he’d win. He’d fought with more odds against him and came out victorious, so why not give it a shot with good ol’ Shattered? Wait, he was getting incredibly ahead of himself. Or not, as the usually serene czar gave him a look capable of sending even Resheph’s signature smirk to shift into a bewildered frown. Well fine, he could make stupid faces too! As his tattered harks flattened against scarred skull he heard the monarch speak words not laced with rage but a cleverly hidden threat. Still the cocky steed couldn’t take him serious and let a goofy grin overcome his tight lips as he laughed out his next set of lyrics. “Gee doc, I don’t know. Maybe my macabre sense of humor?” he purposed though his grin was wiped off his face once he realized with Shattered’s next-more obvious-threat that he wasn’t exactly joking. Abysses narrowed in contempt and the flames dancing upon his obsidians suddenly leaped up his thick pillars as he went through his incredibly limited options. “As with if you touch me, you will die,” he boomed, sarcasm thrown aside for the moment as he spewed threatening lyrics. Maybe it wasn’t the most poetic choice of words, but it would suffice. Hopefully the stag would understand he meant that if he picked a fight with him, it would be his own self that would die. Or that’s how Resheph imagined it anyway.

Finally! Sky thought. Shattered had finally figured out that she didn't mean it. He had returned her knowing glance and let her know that he was in on her plan. If he played along, it would help even more. Especially if he was able to make Sky look like a slut worth using. If that were possible, maybe Resheph would take her back to his lands and...no, Sky didn't want to think about it yet. Suddenly, she felt the stallion's teeth graze her neck again. A hiss of air escaped through her teeth. Immediately she stepped back, giving the stallion his space.
She wasn't entirely herd-stupid. The mare knew what was expected of a dame. She took a deep breath stepped back to him. In no way was he going to shake her that easilly. Wait a minute, she didn't have to close the space between them. He did. Shit, she thought. Granted, she knew this was how it was going to work anyway. He was making sure she knew she now belonged to him. He was letting her know she couldn't leave. Another sigh left her maw. It was going to be a long night.
Sky took a deep breath. She had to get Resheph out of here. If that meant that she would have to stay with him, as one of his many whores, so be it. As much as she hated the idea of that, she was willing to do it. Of course, she couldn't quite understand why she was willing, but the mare was. Maybe it was becuase she respected Shattered. Maybe it was because she wanted to protect the new mare. Maybe it was becuase she had nothing better to do but play these games. Then again, maybe it was just becuase the last thing she wanted to do was watch two testosterone filled boys fight over a mare like two squirrels fought over a nut.
It was probably the last one. She ran her velvets over Resheph's hide. She knew what was in store for her. She was ready. She was willing. It was a blow to her pride, and even worse for her honor, but she'd manage. Her carress was well aimed. Hopefully, Sky would gain Resheph's attention, or at least...most of it. "Please...Resheph..." she whispered. "Let us go...I won't leave your side." She was being completely honest, promising him more than she would on any normal basis. Now would be the best time for Shattered to egg him on with her.
It would hurt, and Sky would have to concentrate to ignore her hurt pride, but she figured it would work. Then again, if Shattered were to say something like that, Resheph might take note of it. Of course, Sky knew that the gamma lead suspected her of playing a game. She was, but she was also completely truthful in what she was saying. Art had left her unsatisfied. She was going to take Resheph up on his offer. And, she was not going to leave his side. Mentally, Sky kicked herself in the gut.

I had no time to hate, because The grave would hinder me, And life was not so ample I Could finish enmity.
Nor had I time to love, but since Some industry must be, The little toil of love, I thought, Was large enough for me.
I glanced nerveously between then three equines surrounding me, and I inched closer to the one standing in front of me now. My pale harks shifted along with my visionaries as Resheph took a swing toward Sky, their own little spat in the middle of a larger one. But by now, it was more than a spat.
I had enough of this, feeling helpless. I wished I could have snapped at him while I had the chance, but I knew I was a whimp. I couldn't do much physically, but I was a pretty good fire bender..
That got an idea stirring in my mind, eyeing up Resheph's back, in the exact spot he couldn't reach.
