¦lost 'til you're found¦
Thundering across the rocky terrain galloped the mighty Earthen King, flints pounding the ground with unwavering force and crown held high though momentarily lost in thought. So many things had happened lately, and he found himself quite frequently lost in a state of nothingness. His cranium was filled to the brim with thoughts swirling around, waiting to be considered and sorted out. Though instead he just procrastinated, leaving such meager things behind and slipping away into bouts of liberation. The feeling of your element always close by your side, whether it by in the forms of grass trampled upon or rocks passed by and the wind in his face was an unparalleled joy. Of course he wasn’t failing his duties at King, for each and every time he thundered through his land he was patrolling the parameters. He neither neglected his current herd either, he was still Karolek after all. They were his life, the reason of going on and the source behind his plaguing thoughts.
¦swim 'til you drown¦
Onyx dipped pistons carried him swiftly along the concealed path he took, coming from the depths of the canyon to the wide open plains of grass above. The sudden rays of sunlight blinded him as he came upon sight of the emerald stalks and he instinctively lowered his crown to resume sight. Though through all this he hadn’t missed one beat of hoof falls. Fleeting neigh escaped from the grasps of his mug and he almost laughed at how incredibly silly he was becoming. Yes, this running about was surely exhilarating but at the same time he couldn’t just keep running away from his own thoughts of all things. Pace slackened as his strode over to the edge of his land, standing atop a large hill overlooking the area that one had to travel to come to his place of reign, Druugroot.
¦know that we all fall down¦
Cranium dipped to graze peacefully along the edge of his kingdom, enamels nibbling on the delicate stalks of emerald. A slash of ebon ropes attacked his sienna hide, warding of insects that came to feast on his finally stationary mass. These were the last of his worries although as he finally let his musings consume him. He concluded that all this worry was entirely unnecessary, no matter how much it had infected his being. He would take things in stride, facing them when they presented themselves and overcoming them in whatever way it was needed. He was himself and no one else, and that was all that mattered. Carmel pools gazed upward, catching what could be a wandering figure struggling to overcome the light mist that consumed them in the break of dawn. He rose his boa, occs trying to gain a better image of the incomer though they were too far away for any details to be extracted.
¦know that we all fall down¦
OoC||Karolek just had some confrontation with an unsavory character that threatened one of his mares, and is conflicted at how he reacted to the situation. Usually he's the strong, calm and silent type. Though he experienced such hatred and violence that he is second-guessing himself. Thus the whole 'running away from his thoughts'. Yah, just thought I'd explain so you know whats going on ;D.

LEVANAH;i.know.your.thoughts
Sinuous pillars carried her over the rough stone, her flint hard hooves striking the rock as her three beat gait sent her swiftly through the canyon. The rock walls closed narrowly around her in this area - but it did not send her into a nervous frenzy as it might have with other horses. Here.. she realized she had never felt so at home, with the stone close around her like a protective blanket. Large sheets of mica were imbedded into the stone, the rising sun glaring harshly off them, turning the canyon into a disorenting maze of sun and shadow.
Spotting a cliff up ahead - she quickened into a blindingly fast gallop, her pistons working hard. Breathing in the cool canyon air, she lent more speed to her limbs, moving the spires that jutted out infront of her with a simple crack of her forelegs against the stone floor. The stone obayed swiftly, crumbling to gravel without a seconds hesitation.
As the cliff loomed ahead, she slowed, stopping just at the edge. From this vantage point, she could see the entire terra- mares grazing in the valley below, hardly any stallions though. Strange... so many mares.. she thought to herself as she looked around the lush, misty grassland below her. Turning away, she set back on her search - cantering off into the shadowy gloom of the narrow canyon once again. Levanah knew what she was looking for. His scent marked every trail and every spire in this land, his name was on the tongues of every mare in the valley: Karolek.
Suddenly she spotted him, on the top of a ridge, grazing calmly. Or so it seemed. His buckskin pelt shon with good heath in the golden light of the bright morning sun. Nothing like a rising ball of fire to give a handsome stallion the best light to show of his muscles.. Levanah thought with teasing distain. Speeding up once more, she raced up the ridge before slowing to a graceful trot about three hundred meters away from the Earth King.
"You seem troubled, Karolek.. what event has caused you to be so tense.. and your mind to be racing faster than an eagle on the wing..?"
The mare called out, her voice velvet soft, but speaking rock hard truth. Her amber and cream forelock brushed over one haunting eye, giving her a mysterious and intreging aura. Her lean and muscular body moved closer to his, before bowing low, one foreleg stretched out before her. Levanah looked up teasingly before moving to stand beside him.

¦lost 'til you're found¦
Senses failed the troubled King, or had they? The figure he thought was wandering toward him had in actuality appeared behind him. His senses told him she was certainly real, and he just purposed that occs were allowed to fail him once in a while. Chassis moved with strong grace as his turned to face her, pools of amber surveying her subtly. Definitely feminine, so unless this world had truly gone under, she wasn't here to threaten him. Warm greeting of a smile tugged at his velvets and he gave a nod at her appearance. A silent welcoming for her lithe frame to pace closer to his tawny form.
¦swim 'til you drown¦
The annoying sound of insects swarming around his twin spires endangered his capacity to hear her first verses, and he flicked them with certain disdain. They subsided for a moment and he eagerly listened to her strange lyrics. How had she known his name? The rest wasn’t as surprising, for he frequently found himself letting his emotions cloud his façade. He didn’t deem this as a weakness, for if he wished he could leave his crown cold with distance. Though would you rather have a warm King who you knew had a soul, or a distant one that never let you see his true heart?
¦know that we all fall down¦
“I might care to share some of my plaguing thoughts if you care to announce how you’ve heard of my name,” he spoke with an err of pique. Still his voice was calm and level, it just was unnerving that she already knew of his calling. Of course one of this mares could have unknowingly spilled it, with only innocent intentions. Though it was still quite particular, and nothing satisfied curiosity better then simply asking the question. “Though now I have nothing to offer you in return, I still yearn for your own deeming,” he continued with more of his repose lyrics.
¦love 'til you hate¦
The nameless femora offered a respectful bow, though it seemed to be only made in a teasing matter. The earth equines he had so far the pleasure to meet had all been quite like himself, tranquil in nature. Maybe a few secrets were kept, though they obviously had their reasons. This vix, however, seemed to have a sort of spice injected within her alluring image. There was no doubt she was quite beautiful, though Karolek learned to look past so irrelevant details and see through to their own being. Still, even with his power of assumptions he couldn’t quite tell what to think about this feisty maiden-if you could even refer to her in such a way that is.

LEVANAH;oh.how.little.you.know
A teasing, yet understanding smile touched her olive toned occs. Sometimes her crafty words stunned people, when if they had thought but a little, they would surely see it was all an illusion. Aquiring the popular kings name, especially with so many chatty mares in his harem, was nothing short of easy. Hardly a challange. However - it was always so much fun to seem all knowing and mysterious - especially around stallions. It gave her a sort of alluring charm and confidence, something that she alone worked better than any other.
"My good king... with so many mares in your harem, how could I NOT hear of your name?" She explained with a small chuckle and a demure smile. "My mother named me Levanah, on the cool evening of my birth. From what I have gathered, it means 'Earth Moon' in a language of the west."
A horsefly began to nibble on the thin arabian skin of her left flank, and with an annoyed twitch of her silken tresses, she flicked away the agrivating biting creature. The sun was rising fast in the eastern sky, and the little insects were loving its near summer warmth. Bending her nape to pluck a handful of the cool spring grass, she chewed thoughtfully - pondering the stallion beside her. The only conclusion she came to, was that he was the perfect king to rule the Earth benders. How strong and loyal an aura he had, and such a contemplative manner of speaking.
"So tell me, what seems to plague a strong mind such as yours, on a fine morning such as this?"

¦lost 'til you're found¦ Tassel swished absentmindedly in its quest to rid his henna hide of any insects. Pestilences weren’t allowed to feast on a King’s blood, after all. A chuckle escaped from his open maw at the femora’s word, and he shook his head in soft laughter. That was exactly what he had thought, and yet somehow he still felt there was an ulterior reason. Of course not, they were elemental horses not physic. “Of course, I apologize for my bluntness,” he offered still reeling at how he had so quickly overestimated this fae. Though that was just the type she was, the kind you expected to something completely unforeseen with their zesty nature and then they turned out to just be exceedingly perceptive. He had merely over-analyzed things as was his nature.
¦swim 'til you drown¦
More complying verses were spilled from her delicate maw with ease, and he nodded at them. Cranium reeled to find an appropriate response and amazingly enough it came rather quickly. Nothing was ruder then leaving a newcomer to wallow in silence. “Levanah, it seems quite fitting,” he mused aloud with a soft smile present on his features. “Am I fit to assume that you’re of earth heritage - as like myself - as your name speaks?” he asked with polite step closer to her grazing figure. Her next well meaning words took a bit longer for Karolek to answer, as he usually kept his thoughts very private. His emotions might show a glimpse of his feelings, though for the most part he kept his thoughts tucked carefully into the folds of his cranium.
¦know that we all fall down¦
“Nothing of much importance,” he spoke nonchalantly, even though it was an outright lie. He felt a twinge of guilt at his lie, for he had gave her his promise to speak his thoughts if she complied with his questions. Though really why would he speak his inner troubles with a stranger if not the mare it involved? It wasn’t even as if she would ever begin to completely understand his words even if he did try to speak them. ‘Oh yeah, just kind of having an identity crisis. No biggie though.’ Yeah, he could really see how she would think of as a rightful king if he spilled those harsh truths. Crown dipped for enamels to once again rip grass from ground, though a bit more savagely then his previous grabbings. Tossing cranium back in the air he glanced at the rising sun above the canyon, the way it bled its various colorings in the rocken land. It was truly a beautiful sight, and he hoped maybe, just maybe, Levanah would let his words go and marvel at the scene before them instead.

LEVANAH; i.will.find.the.truth
Silly overestimating stallion. While Levanah was special in her own right..she was no mind reader. Only a mind expert, if you willl. She knew the workings of the mind.. and had extremly fine tuned instincts, especially when it came to emotions and the effects there of. His blunt manner of speaking had done no harm, however, as the smile on her maw foretold. Infact it had done quite the opposite, it lent her a small glimpse of his obvious protective nature. To his next question, was a simple answer.
"Fit indeed, Karolek. I am of Earth, and always have been. Born to two of our same - inherited the blood through the womb, not by choice. Though, if given that choice... I would have made no other. I am of Earth inside and out, by mind and by birthright."
Taking another mawfull of the tender juice filled grasses, which at this time of year were scented with floral clover and wild herbs, Levanah chewed slowly as she watched the rising sun. His soothing and steadfast voice filled her harks, but filled her heart with his lies. While it did prick Levanah just a little, she could see the pain of the deciet in his eyes. This was far more than a simple annoyance, and with that, she let it go.
"While I am not so dull as to breeze over that lie without a second thought, I will let it go, as you wish; with the simple hope that perhaps you will indulge my curiosities in due time.."
Levanah replied with a hint of a sigh. He was the king, after all, and it would be supremly disrespectful to pry into matters that obviously didn't concern her. Instead, she followed his gaze to the sky, watching the sky bleed from red, to pink, to soft lavender. The night cooled stone of their home land turned colors as well - from deep indigo to lilac gray. Truely - a land filled with such beauty must harbor many secrets in its shadowy, deep depths.

¦lost 'til you're found¦ Pleased to see his words had not effected the mare his serene smile remained comfortably on Karolek’s ebon dipped mug. Amber pools gazed inattentively as the sun slowly made its climb to the varicolored heavens. There were very few clouds in the sky, and so not the threat of oncoming rain anytime in the near future. Rain was always a bringer of foul thoughts, even though there were plenty a places to hide from its fury within the canyon. Verses were brought into the crisp air by Levanah, bringing him out of his near trance-like state. He listened steadily, his aerials attempting to catch her words more clearer by perking in her direction.
¦swim 'til you drown¦
If he were to do what came natural, he would merely nod at her words and leave it at that. But he knew it would be best to keep conversation going, as mere courtesy if nothing else. “Ah, I see. I’m pleased by your passion of the earth nature,” he spoke with laughter almost edging in his tone, though quickly being pulled back. It was, in fact, nice to hear that she wasn’t a traitor or anything. She clearly felt strongly at her earth heritage, and this was quite welcome. He just wasn’t use to such bountiful words being spoken, and although very out of nature for the quiet Karolek he decided to shed some light on himself in the same manner. “I was conceived by two that hadn’t even heard of the powers we bear, I suppose the gene skipped a few generations before giving me the great powers I possess.”
¦know that we all fall down¦
It truly was a sort of miracle his powers grew to such an extent he could be deemed King, for his parents weren’t clueless as to his particular abilities. Nevertheless the long lost past was never something he dwelled on too much, not that it was unsavory just that it was mostly uneventful. Occs wandered back toward the femora, waiting to see if she would let his lies go or pry into his inner dwellings. Interestingly enough she let things go, though not without warning him she saw right through his lie. Not that it startled him much, for he never was skilled at deception and maybe that was what shaped him into the stallion he was today. For when one was exceptionally great at lying, it never led to any desirable qualities. “I never thought you were, Levanah,” he replied simply and left it at that. If she gained her trust, and the thoughts were still profound in his mind that he would certainly spill them. Though for now he felt it best to just ignore the plaguing thoughts, leaving them to fight it out within his cranium. "Do you have a purpose for your wanderings in my land?" he asked calmly in attempt to change the subject. He wasn't accusing her of anything, merely inquiring. Perhaps she would like to stay...even as foreign as she was to the tawny stag just about anyone was welcome in Druugroot.

LEVANAH; come.closer.my.dear.
The roan mare could hear the laughter in his voice as he spoke of her heritage and his own. She was pleased to hear that he had elemental power, not that she would have thought otherwise - it would have seemed very out of place for the leader of the Earth benders to have no bending power himself. She was relieved and happy to hear that it was certainly not the case. As he spoke, her mind wandered, trying to imagine how strong his power could be.
"I too posess bending power, though I am nearly certain it is not so grand and impressive as yours... "
She half giggled, still smiling. It was so easy to smile around the laid back king. She wished she knew more about him... perhaps at some point she would be as close to him as the rest of the mares in his herd. She blushed as she remembered the gossip she overheard, carried by the vibrations of the stone... an acoomplished mate was he, to be sure, though Levanah couldn't be sure if he had a mate or foals in this newly established territory.
Shrugging off his remark at how he never thoght she was dull, she scoffed lightly. Apparently he must have, if he thought he could lie so blatantly. But no matter, it was none of her business - and she would keep it that way until the day came when he decided to confide in her. As his next question floaded to her harks, a confidant and myserious grin took the place of the peaceful half smile on her maw.
"Do you wish me to stay, your majesty?"
She whispered in his ear, her pelt pressed close to his, a rare show of seduction. Suddenly she whipped her stinging threads against his pelt and trotted towards the path down the ridge. Rearing, Levanah tossed her mane playfully and gave him a look of challange.
"Run with me, Karolek! Put aside your crown, let your inner colt run free in the canyon!"

Flies continued to buzz around his various appendages, and he snorted in contempt at the nerve the insects possessed. Unfortunately he couldn’t burn them away, brush them off with a light breeze or make it rain to drive them away like those of the other three elements. Rather he just had to endure it with a strong face, using his cords to whip them away where they could reach. Levanah spoke again, leaving a trail of laughter in her wake. Karolek was far from a haughty brute, though did know this his powers were very advanced and only very few could be as gifted in earth bending as he was. This was not arrogant, it was merely stated in the laws of the land. A King was not a King if his abilities weren’t unrivaled.
¦swim 'til you drown¦
The roan fae gave a quick scoff, and he wondered which of his words had gave this reaction. Nevertheless such meager things didn’t stay within his cranium for long and he merely let him slide off. Then she asked the words that he had secretly hoped she would, though he wouldn’t dare to say it in a manner that would sound as if he were commanding her. Although he could become strict when the need arises, in his true nature Karolek was very laid back and level headed. And he finally realized this, knowing that although he could become extremely protective-and do whatever was necessary when someone he cared about was in danger-he was truly a good soul.
¦know that we all fall down¦
“Of course,” he replied with his infamous simple words. Never a wordy stallion this King was, that was for sure. Though what surprised him was the way she spoke her previous words, striding ever close to him and plastering their two hides together. Whispering those things into his ear awoken feelings that at first sight he had immediately hidden and ignored. All the mares were in heat at this time of year, and she was no different. As she threw her seductive strands against his hide and trotted away it left a stinging sensation against on his skin. Not that it was particularly painful, just the way she flung herself about give him certain energy that he been so easily concealed just mere moments ago.
¦love 'til you hate¦
Rising to the air and playfully kicking at the wind she looked purposely toward the path that led downward into the canyon, that back at himself. A challenge? Playful smirk crawled upon his ebon dipped mug and he neighed in agreement. Calm and collected he was, though that didn’t mean he was never in the mood for a good romp. And her enticing lyrics only set in stone that he would like to do as she dared with her even more. Pistons carried him swiftly to her side, enamels softly nibbling along her tresses that had once whipped him, before without warning charging off into the canyon. Daggers strode effortlessly through dangerous path, narrow and winding it may be. Though this was his land, and he knew better then any other equine could possibly. Not that he was trying to show off, just letting himself go somewhat. ‘Putting aside his crown’ as the mare so lightly put it, also meant putting aside his thoughts too. He just worried about too much, over-analyzing the simplest of things. “Is my larger bulk fleeter then your lithe?” he cooed while sneaking a dangerous glance to see if she had followed as she made him to beleive she would.

LEVANAH; .the.thrill.of.the.chase.
His words of conformation sent a rush of heat through her pelt, and the ground shook ever so slightly as her pelt trembled with anticipation. He wanted Levanah to stay.. her chances of becoming one of his trusted mares had suddenly spiked. Her skin hummed with bridled excitment. As he accepted her challange and pluged down the ridge through the canyon, she watched him go.. momentarily stunned that he had; for one thing, accepted Levanah's dare so whole heartedly. The femmes' heart throbbed mercilessly as she wated his thick, trained muscles bunching and releasing with every reach of his powerful haunches.
Coming to her senses, she tore off down the stone, a shower of gravel and sand spraying up from her hooves as she lept clear down the ridge way. Upon landing, Levanah tore off at a blindingly fast pace, eyes never leaving the strong - sure form of Karolek. The twists and turnes of the canyon path came at her strongly - but she managed to dodge every time, her litle form granting her extreme mobility to weave among the bright maze of stone.
Only a dozen or so paces behind him, Levanah sprinted as fast as her thin limbs would allow her. Karolek's purred words reached her ears, and a snort escaped her nose. Never... she thought, gritting her teeth at the strain on her muscles. With a deep inhale, she spead up even more so that she was matched flank to flank with the brute. Reaching over, she nipped his withers playfully.
"And just where are you leading me...?"
Levanah asked, though the answer was not very important. She was simply enjoying the feeling of running free beside a strong stag, something she had not done for a good many moons. Neighing loudly, she tossed her mane, every cell in her body singing with exhilleration.

¦If ever your will starts crashing down¦
Pistons glided with ease through the winding trail, daggers pounding the ground pitilessly much like he had done earlier. By now the sun was already high in the sky, though it was still striving to crawl to the top. Within the canyons walls it gave some shelter to the blistering heat of summer, providing shadows to creep around in and liquid to refresh yourself with. Though his surroundings were but a blur at the dangerous speed he was traveling at, though he had nothing to worry about. He suspected Levanah hadn’t any trouble with the hazardous terrain as she sprinted to catch up with him after he had spilled his good-natured taunt. It was good to let go once in a while, letting all the worries strip down and thoughts banished.
¦whenever your will starts crashing down¦
The femora caught up with him at an amazing speed, now ignoring the narrowness of the trail and now galloping at his side, paying no heed to the edge that came ever closer to obsidian flints. Levanah brought him back to his senses when she placed a careful nip on his withers. Not wanting to risk her falling off the extremity of the path he kept his ivories to himself, rather just responding by hastening his pace. Letting his strong muscles bunch up and then spring themselves forward in attempt to bring his tawny mass at a bit more speed. It worked, and he let a small yet audible chuckle behind as he surged ahead of her.
¦whenever your will starts crashing down¦
Words caught up to him quickly, for he still was not that far ahead of the fae. Surprisingly enough he responded immediately, rather then thinking over is words as usual. Perhaps this sudden release of pent up energy was good for his soul, though he truly didn’t see him doing this too often. “To the bottom,” he laughed and stole a glance to see if his words had reached her spires. Another sharp turn was took, and he felt daggers slip momentarily before he quickly corrected them. Although he had the advantage of experience, her feet were - in fact - much easily maneuvered because of her light figure. His hulk was more of a medium between maneuverable and strong and so at a small disadvantage. Though this still didn’t make his pace slacken at all, and continued full force on the spiraling trail leading to the depths of the canyon. Though the sound of a distant rumble entered his wind-whipped auds, making his defenses rise up once again. Occs carried themselves to the sky above, though not even a hint of thunder-bringing clouds were present and he gave a instinctual nicker of danger to the femme that followed him so closely.

LEVANAH; i.will.follow.you.
Sprinting down the canyon was hardly affecting the mare, endurance bred blood racing as fast as Levanah wove through the veins of the narrow passages. While her breath was labored and her dark shoulders glistined with silky sweat, she couldn't remember a time where she had felt so alive. Her twin pools shon brightly with excitement, nickers and snorts escaping her velvetene lips evertime a spire or tight twist in the path flew past them. Levanah's sides heaved with the effort, as they had been running for quite a while now. The sun still steadily climbed through the sky, and a longing for the cool caress of water down her throat arose.
Karoleks voice reached her harks, announcing that they were headed to the base of the canyon. He was five strides ahead of her now, but as his step faltered she shot close to him. Levanah dipped her maw to caress her soft lips across his back, follwing only a few inches behind, just out of reach of his flints. Levanah nickered softly as she heard the rumble, a sound of curiosity and concern. His own sounds of worry joined hers, and the two of them slowed to a steady canter, spires perked towards the rumbling sound. The roan femme's orbs showed ivory as the thunder like sound grew steadily louder.
"Karolek... what is that..." Her worried nicker could be heard just faintly over the booming sound.

¦If ever your will starts crashing down¦
Solid chest heaved laboriously at the exertion of galloping down the narrow path that spiraled downward into the depths. Pistons continued their perilous journey at an even speed, though Karolek could sense the presence of another catching up behind him. And so it was as Levanah pushed off into another sprint and staid at ease just a pace behind, his daggers suddenly feeling as if they were to make contact with her roan canvas though they did not, passing by with mere inches to spare. The sound of a faraway rumble caught his attention, although lifting spires that had once been laid firmly against skull to catch the source of the strange noise. Pace slackened to a canter, though all senses told him to skid to an immediate halt. Though doing so might injure the fae that was trailing him so closely behind.
¦whenever your will starts crashing down¦
More profound booms were heard, in slow succession. Any voices surely drowned out by the sheer amount of noise. Hoof beats softened as he slowed to a mere walk, rounding a sudden corner with marked curiosity. The scene that unraveled before caramel occs of the great King was something even he had yet to witness in his time residing here. Which although might seem but a few fleet days, in truth it had become many moons and he had seen various dangerous sights though this was still anew. Huge boulders crashed wildly in the canyon, somehow dislodging themselves from the walls and tumbling uncontrollably in each and every direction. Towers once again pinned themselves tightly against his crown as he quickly swerved his serpentine around to face Levanah. “Stay here,” he barely called before moving into the midst of the destruction.
¦whenever your will starts crashing down¦
Masses crashed aimlessly just about everywhere in this disastrous section of the canyon. Once he had moved far enough within the rockslide a wave of concentration smoothed over his features and it seemed as if everything had stopped movement. Though it was merely the boulders that hovered in midair, then they all in uniform slowly fell to the safety of the canyon floor. Internal organ pumped wildly, seemingly racing a mile a minute as adrenalin pumped furiously into his veins. Another block of wall threatened to fall, though as Karolek turned in its direction the rumbling ceased and all was calm in the canyon. Sigh of relief was emitted from ebon dipped mug and he moved his tensed pistons back in the direction of awaiting maiden. “Are you alright?” yes it might haven been an entirely unnecessary though that was Karolek for you. Always worried about the safety of others, and this experience was no exception. She had asked if she could see his powers earlier, hadn’t she? Well she had her chance now, though the event was entirely unexpected.

LEVANAH; as.the.world.ends.around.us
Levanah stared in complete astonishment as she took in the scene before her. Boulders crashed and thundered as if they wished to completely reform the canyon. Showers of sparkling, choaking dust flew down the canyon face in wake of the slabs of stone, drowning all in its wake in its flowing sandy tidal wave. The roan fae could feel the trembling of the earth beneath her feet, how it seemed to shake with fear at the thought of many many centuries of perfection being laid to waste by the crushing, pounding rock. Her forest toned optics left nothing unnoticed. Strangely, she found that the play before her was hypnotically beautiful in its distruction. Perhaps it was the sheer power coursing through her veins, or the simple and irrevocable damage. Whatever the case - she found that she could look beyond the disturbance and find beauty within it.
She watched as Karolek waded through the fray with confidence, before stopping away from the danger and finding the calm, peaceful space in his mind. She knew that place well, from her own experiences in bending. Especially to control something of this caliber - which he obviously intended to do - you had to find that calm, solitary place within. Levanah watched in awe as the boulders hung suspended, as if puppets in a show, before slowly dropping to the earth. Once all the chaos had been righted, he trotted back. His soothing, yet oh so slightly shaken voice reached her harks, and his words of concern smoothed the worried lines on her brow.
"Safe and sound, as you seem to be."
She nickered, running her lips along his face and ears to rid them of the clinging dust. A relieved sigh rippled through her lips, and she draped her narrow crest across his own sturdy neck, her velvets just below his left ear.
"A mighty show of your power... let it be known that I shall never doubt it again."

Dust clung to the beast's already tawny hide, though he made no efforts to rid himself of the substance. It created an almost comforting shield to the world that surrounded him, leaving another layer for the insects to overcome before they could gorge on his blood. Just like fire benders could always been seen with flames licking up their stilts and air benders with a breeze constantly fluttering around them. A trademark perhaps, although for this certain occasion it was an unavoidable consequence. Dirt and dust had by now settled peacefully down to the ground from which it was originally stirred up from, though Karolek couldn't help but hear a feigned rumbling that made his skull snap back in the direction of the previous turmoil. But all was clam and peaceful as of now, so his amber optics slowly wandered back to the fae that had watched the whole scene unfold so swiftly.
"That is a comforting observation," he laughed softly in his attempt at humor. He could have thought of something better if given a few more moments of thought. But he'd rather leave his concentration on relaxing his tightly tensed muscles then creating superfluous words. He had no intentions on trying to woo this fair maiden, though he did quite enjoy her company. She made him feel relaxed, and more spontaneous. Not as up-tight as he usually was, trying to be the best he could be. Which he found was quite hard for himself since he felt the constant pressure to be better then he already was, feeling as if he always failed at some sort of thing a King should excel at. See, self-doubt was yet another fault.
Spires swiveled in Levanah's direction as let out her nicker before sliding her soft velvets across his soiled crown. The movement surprised him, leaving his few relaxed muscles to inadvertently tense once again. It wasn't as if he was a mere colt and unknowing to those of the female gender. You could say he was a bit preoccupied with his internal conflicts and thoughts that he hadn't really took the time to read her body language. Yet another fault...yet he wouldn't concentrate on it. Not now. Her slender serpentine now rested lightly on his own as of now, her muzzle parting as she spoke soft words into his auditory. "Is that to say that you had, in fact, previously doubted me?" he asked curiously. It might not have been the smooth words many a stallion would speak in his situation, he just wasn't like that. Not that he didn't like the beautiful vix, he just had a different way in going about things. And as of now, he was curious as to what her words meant exactly. Most likely they meant nothing, but what would be the harm in asking?
OoC||Crazy Karo! Hopefully I gave you enough to work with, I think I did. Anyway, I think he'll warm up to her a bit more in the next post. He was just a little taken by surprise xP.
