Some of you may know of the incident that happened about a month ago with three members.For those that don't,here's a recap.Illuminati,Bonecrusher,and Mileyara were their names,and they decided to begin impersonating members in the cBox late one night while I was off.I got all their IP addresses and banned Bonecrusher from NV and the cBox.I did not get a chance to ban the other 2 because they quit here before I could,and theit cBox posted were bumped out.
Last night,the two unbanned IPs were back,along with a third unknown one.I had written down the 3 IPs from the last incident,and I found the 2 I hadn't banned in the older messages from last night.They are now banned.
The Random,Sky,Sadi,Firefly,and Proboards Support impersonators all had either of the 2 IPs that I didn't get a chance to ban last time.
IF THIS EVER HAPPENS AGAIN,please please please refrain from recoiling in the cBox.It only makes matters worse and draws it out into a huge deal.Yes impersonating is bad,insulting is bad,and they are both annoying.But if the real people continue to post and fight back,it only gets more confusing and frustrating.
You can talk over PM,or talk in a board not visible to guests.But please try not to post in the cBox.As soon as I get on they can be banned and we can get on with our lives.
I do not blame anyone for these incidents,and I would like to give Firefly and Sky a pat on the back for dealing with it and doing what they did to help.
